opinion: I thought it was a great family movie to watch. it was full of laughing fun. It really talks about how to express yourself and have fun with your family which was a great story to learn about. five star rating!

      

chick and easter cupcakes recipe

Ingredients:

1 vanilla cupcake, recipe follows
About 1/3 cup White Fluff Frosting, recipe follows
Green coconut grass, recipe follows
6 small candied malt balls (2 yellow, 2 pink, 2 white)
1 yellow chick peep
White Airhead candy
Directions
Frost a cupcake with fluff frosting. Press a circle of coconut grass on top. Nestle the malted eggs on top of the grass. Gently press the peep onto the center of the grass. Cut the white Airhead into a 1/2 oval shape; trim one side so it has a cracked egg jagged edge. Place egg next to chick.

Vanilla Cupcakes:
2 2/3 cups sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 large eggs
2 large egg yolks
2/3 cup milk
2/3 cup water
2 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/3 cups cake flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon fine salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two 12-cup cupcake tins with paper liners. (To avoid cupcakes sticking if they overflow slightly, lightly spray the tops of the pans.) Put tins on a baking sheet. Set aside.

Process sugar and butter in a food processor until very creamy, scraping sides as needed, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the eggs and yolks, one at a time, pulsing after each addition. Add the milk, water, and vanilla and process to blend.

Whisk both flours, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Add the dry ingredients, in 3 batches to the wet, pulsing, and then scraping batter off the sides of the processor as needed after each addition. Process until the batter is very smooth and pourable like pancake batter, about 2 minutes.

Evenly pour the batter into the prepared cups, filling them 3/4 of the way full. Bake until the cakes are just firm and spring back when gently pressed, and the tops are golden, 18 to 25 minutes. Cool slightly in tin, and turn out of tin when cool enough to handle. Cool cupcakes completely on a rack before frosting.

Yield: 24 cupcakes

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Inactive Prep Time: 30 minutes

Ease of preparation: easy


Fluff Frosting:

1/4 cup whole milk
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
10 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
5 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
Pinch fine salt
Whisk the milk and vanilla extract together in a small bowl.

Slowly beat the butter and sugar, in another medium bowl, with an electric mixer until incorporated. Raise the speed to high and mix until light and fluffy, about 5 to 7 minutes. (Occasionally turn the mixer off, and scrape the sides of the bowl down with a rubber spatula.) Add the fluff and salt and reduce the speed to low. Add the milk and vanilla mixture, scrape the bowl down, and mix until fully incorporated. Raise the mixer to high and beat briefly until fluffy, about 1 to 2 minutes. Frost cupcake immediately.

Yield: 3 3/4 cups

Coconut Easter Grass for Cupcakes:

2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
1 to 2 teaspoons liquid green food coloring
1/2 to 1 teaspoon liquid yellow food coloring
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place a mesh rack on top, if available.

Put coconut in a shallow bowl. While tossing with a large spoon, add food coloring drop by drop until the desired color is reached. A little more green than yellow makes a pretty grass color. Add a few tablespoons water to moisten the mixture and help disperse the color evenly. If the color is too dark, add additional water, as needed, to dilute to the desired color. Drain the coconut in a sieve or strainer.

Spread the coconut in an even layer on the rack, or directly on the lined baking sheet. Place in the oven until dry, about 10 to 15 minutes. Use immediately, or store in covered container for up to 3 days.

Cook's Note: Food coloring can be messy and can stain your skin. To prevent this, wear latex gloves. You may find it easier to color the coconut in a large zip top plastic bag, tossing it to color evenly.

Yield: 2 cups coconut grass

my opinion : It's a great movie for kids and for family movie nights. Penelope is a very funny little girl just like a bunch of the other characters.I thought it was full of happiness and was a great movie to see. It's perfect for the gamers who love video games because that's exactly what the movie is all about games!!! So if you want to see it but aren't sure i say its a perfect movie to go see.

the odd life of timothy green

synopsis: The couple places the notes inside a box and buries it in the backyard garden. After a thunderstorm, which seemingly affects only their property, a ten-year-old arrives at their home claiming the Greens as his parents. After finding the box they buried smashed to pieces around a large hole in the ground where they originally buried it, and finding the boy inside their house, covered in mud, they realize that the boy, named Timothy, is actually a culmination of all their wishes of what their child would be. The Greens also discover that Timothy has a startling feature: he has leaves growing on his legs.

Timothy begins to attend school, where he meets Joni Jerome (Odeya Rush), a girl he meets during a bullying incident, with whom he begins to have a mutual relationship. Meanwhile, the town's pencil factory, the largest employer in Stanleyville, begins laying off its employees. Timothy convinces Cindy and Jim to design a prototype for a new pencil in an effort to keep the pencil-producing business viable.

Unbeknownst to the parents, one of Timothy's leaves falls off each time he fulfills one of the qualities listed on the original slips of paper. Timothy eventually reveals to Cindy and Jim that his time of existence is short and that he will eventually disapear.

my opinion:   Its very inspirational and teaches a lot about life. Its cute to see that even know timothy is different he still makes friends and family to help. this movie teaches a lot about how to take what life gives you in a positive way and that no one is perfect and have there own weaknesses.  It was a great movie for my family and it taught a lot to us but was fun to watch at the same time.

hotel transylvania

synopsis: Welcome to the Hotel Transylvania, Dracula’s lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters they are without humans to bother them. On one special weekend, Dracula has invited some of the world’s most famous monsters — Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves, and more — to celebrate his daughter Mavis’ 118th birthday. For Drac, catering to these infamous friends is no problem — but his world could come crashing down when a human stumbles on the hotel for the first time and befriends Mavis.

my opinion: its a way cute movie. Its a little scary  at times for kids but its still way cute. Its full of cute little monster characters and its has funny parts in it too. It is perfect for a family movie night. It is full of energy and and people that are known as Halloween characters everyone knows and love.

i just bought some of my favorite soda! it taste awesome and is great cold to drink when ever and perfect for parties!!!!A lot of people i know like dr. pepper and you could too!By the way perfect for the super bowl coming up if you want a great tasting soda to be refreshed with.

Brownie-Mallow Bars

Ingredients

• • 1 (19.8 ounce) packagebrownie mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) packageminiature marshmallows                        
    
    

    
    

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
    2. Mix brownie mix, oil, water, and eggs in a large bowl until smooth; spread into prepared baking dish.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 28 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows over brownie and continue baking until slightly melted, about 3 minutes more. Remove from oven and cool completely.
    4. Heat chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a saucepan over low heat; cook and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in rice cereal. Spread over cooled brownies. Refrigerate until firm; slice brownies to serve.

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 cups crispy rice cerea

Deluxe Crockpot Oatmeal

(7 servings)    Printable Version

• 1 cup quick cooking oats
• 2 cups milk
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 Tablespoon butter - melted
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 cup finely chopped apple
• 1/2 cup raisins and/or dates
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or almonds

Grease the inside of Crockpot. Throw all ingredients inside Crockpot and mix well. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours (*please see notes below). Stir before serving. 

Great served with milk.

Extra gum

I bought some gum. I'm the type who like mint gum better than fruit and I chew gum a lot with my braces. This gum rocks it doesn't stick to my braces and taste great. The flavor last a long time which rocks so I don't have to get more everyday from the store. I love this gum!!!!!

Sexy fantasies perfume

I love this perfume. It smells great and was cheap. I love it! I got it at Walmart and you can get it anywhere pretty much. You can get a bunch a different smells to fit your personality. They last long too. I got mine a month ago and it's still 3/4 full. I would recommend it to all of you if your looking for a cheap good smelling perfume for a perfect smelling body. There are also many kinds of lotions too. :)

Synopsis:

Drifting past the various cliques after arriving at college, Beca ,Anna Kendrick, pays more attention to the jams pumping in her headphones than the people she passes on her way to class. But all that changes the moment she stumbles into the one place where every misfit has a voice -- the campus a cappella group. Although the competition amongst the singers proves surprisingly fierce, there's just one aspect of the group Beca can't wrap her head around: All of the songs they perform are at least a decade old. Convinced that they can do better by adding some contemporary tunes into the mix, Beca whips up an exciting new set list that will set the group apart and leave their rivals in the dust.

 My opinion:
 I thought it was a great movie and really funny. Me and my sister watched it and it was something I would tell others to watch its a real comedy and it's a lot like glee big time! It is full of dancing and singing and jokes.If your into that kind of stuff it's a great movie to watch when you feel ready for some laughs!
